CPC Certified Medical Coding Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Instructor for Introduction to Medical Billing and Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach online courses related to Medical Billing and Coding
• Mentor students and facilitate teaching and learning in an online environment
• Participate in an online asynchronous assessment as part of the hiring process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with professional experience in a related field
• Coding experience with some billing experience; CPC certification strongly preferred
• CPC certification and coding experience for advanced courses (MCO 201B, MCO 202B, MCO 203B)
• Online and/or classroom teaching experience is helpful but not necessary
• Must hold and be worthy to hold temple recommends as a condition of employment
