Key Responsibilities

• Conducts quality audits of coded charts to ensure compliance with coding guidelines and policies
• Provides feedback and educational materials based on audit results to improve documentation and reduce denials
• Identifies process improvements and conducts research on updated coding standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a multi-specialty physician practice or clinic
• Advanced knowledge of ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
• Proficiency in using medical billing software and EHR systems
