CPC Certified Neurology Coder

Job Summary

To support a neurology clinic, the full-time Remote PB Medical Coder will review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for billing and compliance while working independently in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate coding of medical records in accordance with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines
• Review and resolve coding discrepancies, denials, and documentation issues promptly
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards while managing assigned work queues and chart reviews

Required qualifications

• CPC certification from AAPC
• 3+ years of professional coding experience in neurology clinic coding
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Strong knowledge of federal and state coding regulations and guidelines
