CPC Certified OB/GYN Coder

Job Summary

To support an Academic Medical Center, the part-time remote CPC Certified OB/GYN Coder will manage the coding of OB/GYN and GYN/ONC procedures while communicating codes to providers with official source rationale.

Key responsibilities

• Coding OB/GYN surgeries and GYN/ONC procedures
• Communicating coding decisions and rationale to providers
• Maintaining a quality accuracy rate of 95% or higher

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience coding OB/GYN and GYN/ONC specialties
• CPC certification from the AAPC
• Ability to maintain high accuracy in coding
• Specialty OB/GYN credential from the AAPC is a plus
