CPC Certified Oncology Coder

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated CPC Certified Oncology Coder, the full-time remote position will accurately code medical records for evaluation and management services, surgical procedures, and diagnoses while maintaining compliance with coding standards and HIPAA regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately code medical records for various services and diagnoses
• Prepare coding reports and meet department production and quality standards
• Stay updated with new coding rules and maintain confidentiality of protected health information

Required qualifications:

• CPC or CCS-P certification required; CHONC or CEMC preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of coding experience in multiple specialties, including oncology
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines
• Proficient in computer skills, including Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
