Job Summary

A company is looking for an Orthopedic Surgery Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Coding of surgical procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Assignment of modifiers to procedures and ensuring accuracy in coding through collaboration with physicians and staff
• Timely entry of coding charges and handling special projects as requested

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Orthopedic Surgery coding experience
• CPC certification or equivalent professional license
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)
