CPC Certified Physician Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Coder: Multi-Specialty.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and accurately code professional services to maximize reimbursement
• Meet daily production and quality goals with a 95% accuracy rate
• Stay current on coding guidelines and participate in department meetings

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate or BS degree preferred
• Completion of an AHIMA or AAPC-certified program with a professional credential (CCS, CPC, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years of recent physician coding experience
• Proficient knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10-CM coding
• Experience coding multiple specialties is a plus
