CPC Certified Physician Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Coder specializing in Hospital E/M and Procedure coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Code multispecialty Hospital E/M for physicians
• Code multispecialty Hospital procedures
• Work on coding-related edits and denials

Required Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience coding hospital charges for physicians
• CPC from the AAPC
• Multispecialty surgical experience in Urology, General Surgery, and/or Cardiology is preferred
• Specialty specific credential from the AAPC is a plus
