CPC Certified Profee Coder

Job Summary

To support a fast-paced healthcare environment, the per diem CPC Certified Profee Coder will perform outpatient coding for Internal Medicine encounters remotely, ensuring accurate code assignment and meeting productivity standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform Profee Internal Medicine coding for outpatient/clinic encounters
• Ensure accurate assignment of CPT, modifiers, and ICD-10 codes
• Meet productivity and quality standards while working within the client's EMR system

Required qualifications:

• Certifications Required: CPC, CCS, or RHIT
• Minimum 3 years of Profee Coding experience, with proficiency in Internal Medicine coding
• Experience with EPIC (Single Pathway) strongly preferred
• Must pass a Profee coding assessment with a score of 80% or higher
• Ability to maintain required CPH (charts per hour) and accuracy standards
