CPC Certified ProFee Coder

Job Summary

To support compliant coding and accurate charge capture, the full-time CPC Certified ProFee Coder will review provider documentation and assign accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes for physician services in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review provider documentation to assign accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes
• Ensure documentation supports coded services and identify/escalate discrepancies or gaps
• Maintain established quality metrics and meet productivity standards

Required qualifications

• CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT credentials (active and in good standing)
• Minimum 2-3+ years of professional fee coding experience, preferably in hospital-based or physician practice environments
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, NCCI edits, and payer policies
• Proficiency in E/M leveling guidelines and accurate capture of chronic conditions
• Ability to independently review documentation for minor and major procedure coding
