CPC Certified Quality Analyst

Job Summary

To ensure the highest levels of precision in coding compliance and billing accuracy, the full-time remote CPC Certified Quality Analyst will conduct quality audits, provide feedback to coding teammates, and enforce compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality reviews and audits of behavioral health coding and billing submissions
• Identify trends and individual coding errors, utilizing the AAPC CPT E/M MDM Leveling Grid/E/M Calculator
• Deliver actionable feedback and coaching to improve coding accuracy and productivity

Required qualifications

• Active CPC (Certified Professional Coder) credential required; additional auditing credentials are a plus
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Billing and Coding experience, specifically in a Quality Assurance or Auditing role
• Hands-on experience with Behavioral Health/Mental Health coding and billing preferred
• Expert-level proficiency in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and E/M leveling tools
• Exceptional deductive reasoning skills and attention to detail
