Job Summary

A company is looking for a VMG Coding Auditor & Educator.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting internal and external audits of professional fee coding and providing education and training to coders
• Developing and implementing compliance plans for coding and abstracting, and resolving coding issues with VMG practices
• Monitoring accounts receivable and collaborating with practice directors to improve operational workflows related to clinician coding

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of professional fee coding experience or a combination of coding and healthcare auditing experience
• Preferred experience in professional fee auditing and education
• Multi-specialty professional fee coding experience is preferred
• Proficient in PC database applications, Microsoft Office, and coding encoders
• Coding Certificate Program or equivalent experience leading to certification is required
