CPG Accounting Senior Associate

Job Summary

CPG Accounting Senior Associate is a full-time, remote role based in India, responsible for independently managing complex accounting areas for US-based consumer packaged goods companies, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and complete complex CPG accounting tasks, including trade promotion accruals and inventory accounting
• Manage month-end close processes and proactively identify and resolve accounting issues
• Review and provide feedback on Associate work to enhance accounting competency within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; CA qualification preferred
• 3-6 years of professional accounting experience with a focus on CPG accounting
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and experience applying it in practice
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other accounting platforms is a plus
• Experience in an outsourced accounting or shared services environment serving US-based clients is preferred
