Job Summary

To support patient care initiatives, the full-time CPhT Certified Patient Services Specialist will perform patient onboarding, benefit verification, and prior authorization processes remotely, ensuring seamless communication between patients, physicians, and pharmacies.

Key responsibilities
  • Facilitates patient onboarding and manages prior authorization and financial assistance processes to streamline prescription fulfillment
  • Interacts with patients and providers to gather necessary insurance information and ensure reimbursement for medications and services
  • Maintains patient documentation and tracks adherence activities to enhance patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
Required qualifications
  • CPhT certification required
  • Degree, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Medical Office Administration, Patient Financial Services, or similar fields
  • Familiarity with insurance/claims processing and pharmaceutical products
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel and Word
