CPhT Medicare Adherence Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicare Medication Adherence Technician, CPhT, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Medicare members and the plan to improve medication adherence
• Initiate phone calls to members to encourage prescription refills and identify adherence barriers
• Collaborate with the medication adherence team to support the achievement of pharmacy Stars goals

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience, including 1+ year in pharmacy operations, hospitals, or retail
• High school diploma or GED
• CPhT - Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Understanding of Medicare Part D, formulary, and prior authorization processes
• Experience in call center or medication therapy management (MTM) is preferred
