CPU Core Unit Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CPU Core Unit Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and develop microarchitecture specifications for the assigned unit, including verification and PPA analysis
• Ensure the quality of RTL design, including verification and optimization for PPA closure
• Utilize AI tools to enhance the CPU design process and mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in designing high-performance CPU RTL
• Deep understanding of design verification strategies and CPU microarchitecture trade-offs
• Basic understanding of RISC-V Architecture, including V-extension, is preferred
• Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or VHDL
