Creative Content Copywriter

Job Summary

To support the development of high-quality instructional materials, the contract Creative Content Development Copywriter will work onsite in Nashville, TN, leading the creation of a cohesive design framework for K-2 supplemental science units and ensuring materials are visually engaging and accessible.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of a state-approved design framework for K-2 supplemental science units
• Refine existing Tennessee-adapted units and collaborate on additional units for future release
• Ensure all materials comply with accessibility standards and align with TDOE branding expectations

Required qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Adobe Pro, InDesign, and Canva
• Experience in branding, digital marketing, or graphic design
• Familiarity with state and federal ADA compliance regulations
• Background in K-12 science content is desirable
• Ability to adhere to TDOE guidance on style and branding requirements
