Credentialed Veterinary Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Credentialed Veterinary Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming cases regarding potential toxic exposures, poisonings, and general care inquiries from pet owners
• Document each case in an electronic record and follow up as necessary to ensure animal well-being
• Manage cases under pressure and provide accurate medical, health, and safety information to callers

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• At least 3 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic/hospital performing duties similar to those of a veterinary technician/assistant
• Ability to work varying shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Maintain active licensure, if applicable
• Proficiency with keyboarding, PCs, Microsoft Office, and common computer software and hardware
• Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical operations in various units of measure
