Job Summary
Responsible for comprehensive coordination and analysis, the full-time remote Credentialing Analyst will execute practitioner credentialing and privileging activities, ensuring compliance with medical staff bylaws and accreditation standards while maintaining data integrity within credentialing systems.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and analyze practitioner credentialing and privileging activities for the Alaska Region Medical Staff
- Ensure accurate primary source verification and compliance with organizational policies and accreditation standards
- Prepare detailed credentialing files and action summaries to support informed decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of medical staff credentialing experience, including complex privilege review
- Certification as a Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) within 2 years of hire
- 2 years of medical staff credentialing experience
- 2 years of experience with primary source verification and privileging review
- Experience in committee file preparation
