Credentialing and Contracting Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual care practice, the part-time hourly Credentialing and Contracting Specialist will manage the enrollment, credentialing, and government registration processes for clinicians, ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and federal/state contracting requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and track CMS enrollment applications and revalidation calendars to ensure no missed deadlines
• Complete and monitor state Medicaid enrollments and maintain CAQH ProView profiles and payer portal access
• Manage government contracting registrations and support enrollment in public-sector opportunities

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on provider enrollment and credentialing experience
• Direct experience with CMS I&A and PECOS
• Multi-state Medicaid and commercial payer enrollment experience
• Working knowledge of CAQH, NPPES, and payer credentialing portals
• U.S.-based with a Social Security Number required for CMS I&A credentials
