Credentialing and Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contracting & Credentialing Specialist who will support credentialing, licensing, and payer contracting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes with payers
• Prepare and track credentialing applications through CAQH and payer portals
• Maintain accurate provider credentialing files and monitor credentialing timelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience in provider credentialing, licensing, or managed care contracting
• Familiarity with state boards, CAQH, and credentialing workflows
• Knowledge of ACHC, AASM, CMS, and state regulatory requirements
• Credentialing certification (CPCS or CPMSM) is a plus
