Job Summary
Supporting credentialing, licensing, and payer contracting activities, the remote Contracting & Credentialing Specialist will manage the end-to-end provider credentialing processes, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and serve as a liaison between providers and payers.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes with payers, including application submission
- Maintain accurate provider credentialing files and monitor timelines to address delays or deficiencies
- Support payer contracting activities and assist with licensing needs in alignment with organizational growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience in provider credentialing, licensing, and/or managed care contracting
- Strong working knowledge of CAQH, payer portals, and credentialing workflows
- Familiarity with ACHC, AASM, CMS, and state regulatory requirements
- Credentialing certification (CPCS or CPMSM) is a plus
