Credentialing and Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting credentialing and payer contracting activities, the full-time remote Contracting & Credentialing Specialist will manage provider credentialing processes, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and serve as a liaison between providers and payers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes with payers
• Prepare and track credentialing applications through CAQH and payer portals
• Maintain accurate provider credentialing files and monitor credentialing timelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience in provider credentialing, licensing, and/or managed care contracting
• Strong working knowledge of state boards, CAQH, and credentialing workflows
• Familiarity with ACHC, AASM, CMS, and state regulatory requirements
• Credentialing certification (CPCS or CPMSM) is a plus
