Job Summary
A company is looking for a Credentialing Assistant to support the credentialing and enrollment of healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and submit information to insurance companies for provider network participation
- Maintain and update credentialing databases for provider credentials and network status
- Complete and monitor primary source verifications and credentialing files for providers
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Adobe X Professional
- Good typing, clerical, and computer skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and maintain an amiable telephone personality
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a structured environment
