Credentialing Associate

Job Summary

Providing entry-level support for credentialing activities, the full-time Associate Specialist in National Credentialing will evaluate applications, communicate with healthcare providers, and maintain credentialing software systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate credentialing applications for accuracy and completeness while meeting production goals
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify questions and request missing information
• Review and process daily alerts for sanctions and exclusions to determine provider status

Required qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a data processing, production, and/or administrative role, preferably in healthcare
• Data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Self-direction and logical thinking abilities
• Internet research experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
