Credentialing Associate Specialist

Job Summary

Providing entry-level support for credentialing activities, the full-time Credentialing Associate Specialist will evaluate applications, communicate with healthcare providers, and maintain credentialing software systems in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate credentialing applications for accuracy and completeness while meeting production goals
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify questions and request missing information
• Review and process daily alerts for sanctions and exclusions to ensure compliance

Required qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a data processing, production, and/or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong data entry skills and experience with internet research
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
• Self-direction and logical thinking abilities
