Job Summary
To enhance credentialing processes and compliance, the full-time Credentialing Auditor Educator will conduct comprehensive audits, develop training programs, and serve as a subject-matter expert while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of credentialing and provider enrollment files to ensure compliance with standards
- Develop and facilitate onboarding and ongoing training programs for credentialing team members
- Create educational resources and deliver targeted training sessions based on audit findings
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in hospital credentialing, managed care credentialing, or provider enrollment
- Comprehensive understanding of credentialing and primary source verification
- Experience in developing training programs and standard operating procedures
- Certifications such as Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) preferred
