Job Summary
A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator to manage the credentialing process and maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the credentialing database and oversee the review of practitioner applications for completeness and eligibility
- Monitor ongoing compliance with regulatory bodies and maintain accurate practitioner data
- Participate in audits and respond to inquiries related to credentialing and privileging issues
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare-related experience required; credentialing or medical staff office experience preferred
- Cert Provider Credential Spec preferred upon hire
- Knowledge of basic principles of credentialing and privileging
- Experience with computer-based systems for data entry and extraction
