Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator to manage the credentialing process and maintain compliance with accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the credentialing database and oversee the review of practitioner applications for completeness and eligibility
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with regulatory bodies and maintain accurate practitioner data
  • Participate in audits and respond to inquiries related to credentialing and privileging issues
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare-related experience required; credentialing or medical staff office experience preferred
  • Cert Provider Credential Spec preferred upon hire
  • Knowledge of basic principles of credentialing and privileging
  • Experience with computer-based systems for data entry and extraction
