Job Summary
A company is looking for an Allied Health Practitioner Credentialing Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Process applications for credentialing and reappointments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Organize and maintain practitioner credential files, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation
- Maintain confidential computerized information on the credentialing database, updating records throughout the process
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of medical staff credentialing experience in a healthcare or insurance provider setting; OR
- Associates Degree and 3 years of experience with complex database software systems; OR
- A combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated software database experience for generating correspondence and tracking activities
