Job Summary

Processing applications and performing primary source verification, the full-time Credentialing Coordinator will support UPMC's facilities and organizations remotely by ensuring efficient credentialing and re-credentialing of practitioners.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and scanning accurately according to established policies and guidelines
  • Process applications and conduct primary source verification in a timely manner
  • Maintain communication with practitioners and entity users to facilitate the credentialing process
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of work experience
  • Strong data entry and computer software application skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior credentialing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with JCAHO and NCQA standards preferred
