Job Summary
Processing applications and performing primary source verification, the full-time Credentialing Coordinator will support UPMC's facilities and organizations remotely by ensuring efficient credentialing and re-credentialing of practitioners.
Key responsibilities
- Perform data entry and scanning accurately according to established policies and guidelines
- Process applications and conduct primary source verification in a timely manner
- Maintain communication with practitioners and entity users to facilitate the credentialing process
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of work experience
- Strong data entry and computer software application skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior credentialing experience preferred
- Familiarity with JCAHO and NCQA standards preferred
