Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare startup, the part-time Credentialing Coordinator will manage the credentialing and re-credentialing processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with provider onboarding while working remotely from Mexico or Brazil.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support for credentialing and re-credentialing processes, including application management and primary source verification
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while serving as a liaison for credentialing-related inquiries
- Assist with the provider privileging process and facilitate onboarding documentation to ensure a smooth transition for new providers
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant administrative support experience, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and CRM/support software, with a willingness to learn new tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to documentation and data management
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision
