Job Summary
Managing the hospital's credentialing processes, the full-time Credentialing Coordinator will ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations while collaborating with hospital leadership to credential physicians and allied health practitioners.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute medical staff credentialing processes in accordance with regulations and policies
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure proper credentialing of physicians and allied health practitioners
- Maintain internal controls and protect the hospital's assets during credentialing activities
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years related credentialing experience required
- Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification or related certification preferred
- Experience working in a matrixed environment desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
