Job Summary
To support the Provider Credentialing Program, the full-time Credentialing Coordinator II (PA Licensed) will manage compliance with regulatory requirements, conduct background investigations on healthcare providers, and maintain accurate credentialing documentation while working remotely from Pennsylvania.
Key responsibilities
- Reviews and analyzes physician applications and credentialing documents to ensure compliance with established standards
- Conducts primary source verification for licensure, certification, and registration required for practice
- Maintains and organizes physician files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal documentation principles
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience required
- Experience with Echo or Credential Stream preferred
- Knowledge of JCAHO and Department of Health standards
- Proficiency in computer literacy and credentialing processes
