Credentialing Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support departmental planning and organization, the full-time remote Credentialing Enrollment Specialist will oversee internal processes and ensure timely and accurate completion of provider applications while managing primary source verifications and issue resolution related to provider enrollment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform primary source verifications for managed care credentialing and re-credentialing of providers
• Resolve billing issues and provide support related to provider enrollment and credentialing
• Maintain and update provider data in the ECHO database, ensuring timely follow-up on required documentation

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Three years of experience in provider credentialing, privileging, or enrollment in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience with office equipment
• Certification as a Certified Provider Credential Specialist (CPCS) or Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred
