Credentialing Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Credentialing to oversee the credentialing function and manage relationships with health plan partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the credentialing function and provide leadership to the credentialing team
• Process credentialing applications in compliance with policies and regulations and prepare materials for external audits
• Manage relationships with health plan committees and oversee the initial and re-credentialing review processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a healthcare-related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in credentialing, preferably in a managed care setting
• Eligibility to take the NAMSS Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist exam within 18 months of employment
• NAMSS Credentialing certification preferred
