Credentialing Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time Credentialing Manager will oversee the credentialing operations, ensuring compliance with health plan and regulatory requirements while managing a team remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching to the credentialing team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of initiatives and deliverables
• Manage the processing of credentialing applications in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations
• Oversee audit preparations and maintain relationships with health plan delegation oversight committee members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a healthcare-related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in credentialing within a managed care setting
• 1+ year of management experience in credentialing
• Must be eligible to take the NAMSS Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist exam within 18 months of employment
• NAMSS Credentialing certification preferred
