Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and membership-based organizations
• Process application packages for provider onboarding and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Monitor and update medical licenses and malpractice insurances for providers

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging experience preferred
• General understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
• Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use electronic communication tools
