Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist - Credentials Committee.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination of the credentialing process for practitioners and health delivery organizations
• Maintain the credentialing software database ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Compile and present provider-specific data for review by the Credentials Committee

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
• 2-5 years of hospital or insurance plan credentialing experience
• Working knowledge of Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC, HFAP standards
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
