Job Summary

A company is looking for a Facility Credentialing Specialist I - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes initial applications and reappointments for providers at hospitals and surgical centers
• Maintains accurate records of providers' credentials and monitors licensure renewals
• Updates credentialing database and maintains correspondence files

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; AS or B.S. degree in business administration or healthcare related field preferred
• One year of credentialing experience preferred
• Knowledge of NCQA and/or JCAHO Accreditation standards
• Skilled in computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, and database administration
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
