Job Summary

A company is looking for a Facility Credentialing Specialist I - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes initial applications and reappointments for hospitals and managed care entities
• Maintains and updates credentialing database and provider licensure files
• Monitors renewals of licensure and continuing medical education requirements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School graduate or equivalent; AS or B.S. degree in business administration or healthcare-related field is a plus
• One year of credentialing experience preferred
• Knowledge of NCQA and/or JCAHO Accreditation standards
• Skilled in computer applications including MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
