Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs related to provider credentialing.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs all provider credentialing and re-credentialing services
• Analyzes provider contracts, applications, and other materials for completeness
• Monitors credentialing documentation, including current licensure and board certification

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with provider credentialing and/or healthcare contracting preferred
• Minimum three (3) years in an administrative role
