Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist who will support compliance and credentialing processes for mental health providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage provider inquiries and provide ongoing education regarding credentialing processes and policies
• Oversee and track expirables for providers, ensuring timely renewals of licenses and certifications
• Conduct ongoing monitoring of provider records and prepare documentation for the Credentialing Committee

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in customer or provider relations/credentialing
• Experience with NCQA and TJC accreditation requirements
• Knowledge of primary source verification and credentialing standards
• Experience managing compliance flags and provider documentation
• Familiarity with tools such as CredentialStream, Zendesk, Salesforce, and/or Jira
