Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to manage provider credentialing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of provider credentialing with insurance carriers
• Maintain accurate provider files and update credentialing software and databases
• Coordinate with practices on provider licenses and manage revalidation requests from government payers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in managed care credentialing
• Previous experience in a medical office is preferred
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance is a plus
• Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
