Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Specialist in National Credentialing.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates credentialing applications for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
• Communicates with healthcare providers to clarify information and requests, and updates credentialing software systems accordingly
• Reviews and processes alerts related to sanctions, exclusions, and provider status to maintain compliance and confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a data processing, production, and/or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Data entry skills and experience with internet research
• Self-direction and logical thinking abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
