Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to provide credentialing support for professional services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enrollment for a large provider group across various payors, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Complete professional applications for hospitals and payers, ensuring timely review and documentation
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to improve processes related to credentialing and privileging

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
• Credentialing certification preferred; ongoing education encouraged
• 2+ years of experience in a hospital medical staff setting related to credentialing and enrollment
• Experience with CAQH, PECOS, and Medicaid required
• Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards
