Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Process initial and re-appointment application packages for healthcare providers to ensure compliance with standards
• Monitor and update medical licenses and malpractice insurances for providers, ensuring timely renewals
• Maintain and manage the database of provider information, including education, training, and licensure

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging experience
• General understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance standards
• Proficient in the application of policies and procedures
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use electronic tools for data management
