Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist to manage the credentialing and payer enrollment process for behavioral health providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end credentialing and payer enrollment process for behavioral health providers across multiple states
• Manage internal onboarding for newly hired providers, ensuring all required documentation is collected and validated
• Design and maintain systems to track credentialing and enrollment activities, ensuring compliance and timely updates

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in credentialing for behavioral health across multiple states
• Experience with PECOS, Availity, CAQH, and direct payer enrollment portals
• Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment processes
• Experience managing multiple credentialing workflows simultaneously
• CPCS certification or equivalent hands-on credentialing experience is preferred
