Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist - Professional.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the credentialing and recredentialing processes for practitioner applicants
Conduct thorough reviews and verifications of applications and primary source credentials
Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate data entry in the credentialing software database

Required Qualifications

High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
1-4 years of experience in hospital or insurance plan credentialing
Working knowledge of Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC, and HFAP standards
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
