Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist responsible for provider credentialing and payer enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit and track provider enrollments across Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payers to secure effective dates
• Maintain CAQH attestations and accurate provider data across payer portals and internal credentialing systems
• Assist with onboarding new providers and respond to payer requests, resolving application issues promptly

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years in provider credentialing and/or payer enrollment
• Hands-on experience with CAQH, Medicare PECOS, and payer portals
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial enrollment rules
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficient in credentialing systems and Excel/Google Sheets
