Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a high-volume Centralized Verification Office, the full-time remote Credentialing Specialist will manage the initial credentialing of providers for hospital membership and privileges, ensuring compliance with industry requirements while working with a dynamic team across multiple states.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform credentialing processes in a timely and complete manner
• Acquire necessary materials and information through analysis and follow-up with various stakeholders
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation in the credentialing database

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge of business and/or healthcare
• Three years of credentialing and/or process management experience
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and extensive knowledge of credentialing procedures
• Experience interacting with physicians and healthcare professionals
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in data entry and computer applications
